Family Fun

This past quarter has been fun! Braxton brings real joy to all of our lives. Ammon and Ashlynn both completed the quarter with a 4.0, and Kiersten is doing well with an extra-tough schedule.

Ammon Finishes Eagle Project

Ammon has spent numerous hours spraying, sanding, and painting 7 benches at the city fields as well as the Iron County fairgrounds. Yea--it's finally done!

Braxton Laughing and Fun

Braxton has been so much fun. He is laughing and cooing now.

Ashlynn's Team Takes First

Robert coached Ashlynn's team to another first place finish. She played pitcher and catcher. Robert switched her to a left-handed hitter so she can "utilize her speed." She now specializes in bunting.

Ashlynn Finishes Elementary School

Ashlynn ended her elementary years on May 22. She was in Robert's class this past year. She even ended up earning the Presidential Academic Award. Robert said she was fun to have in class because she "get's excited about everything we do."

Kiersten Starts First Job

Kiersten started working at Lins in May. She also finished her first year of college with a 4.0 GPA.

Ammon 4th at State

Ammon placed 4th in the 1600 as well as the 3200 meter dash at the Utah State Meet in May. He ran a 4:41 in the 1600 and a 10:23 in the 3200. He placed 8th in the 800 with a time of 2:06 (the 5th through 8th place finishers all finished with a 2:06). He was also on the 4x400 team--they took 5th.

What a Dad!

Robert has already been more than helpful. He is such a wonderful dad and an even better husband. He has been up at night and has gone more than the extra mile to make sure that his family is happy and comfortable. Braxton is lucky to have a dad who loves him so much.

Baby Braxton

What an exciting thing to bring a new baby into the world. Braxton was born on April 10 at 7:17 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces. He has already added so much joy and happiness to our family. Kiersten, Ammon, and Ashlynn are more than thrilled to have Braxton here. Robert and I feel very blessed to have a healthy baby and are grateful for all of the extra thoughts and prayers.

Ammon's Success Continues!

Ammon ran a 4:55 mile on Saturday and a 10:40 3200. He also ran on the 4x800 team (his team took 3rd overall--which is really great considering that this was a 2A-5A meet). Ammon also came home with 2 awards: Outstanding English Student for 3rd quarter and Outstanding Social Studies Student for 3rd quarter.

Ammon earns another 4.0

Ammon did very well again this quarter. He had a great basketball season and another excellent academic quarter. We are so proud of him.

Ammon is doing very well in track. He ran a 5-min. mile yesterday and a 2.11 800. What a start.
